“The celebration may be over, but the opportunities for learning and joy are not. Juneteenth was born in Galveston, Texas. Let’s come together as Texans to commemorate the history of Juneteenth together.

“Please join this month for a presentation about the history of Juneteenth from a member of the Juneteenth Legacy Project, Galveston native, founder of G.I.V.E.R.S., unstoppable activist, and Indivisible leader, Roxy D. Hall Williamson.
