Community Conversations: Uplifting Reproductive Justice in The Queer and Trans Community

Join The UPRISE Collective for the first event in our Annual Community Conversations series. This year we are centering Reproductive Justice and our first event focuses on uplifting the voices of the Queer community.

This series is all about the work — the nuances, gray areas, and the myriad instances of triumph and harm that happen routinely in BIPOC and QT/BIPOC organizing — it’s an opportunity to share knowledge, build coalitions, and demystify and strengthen change work.

Community Members will discuss what it means to be LGBTQIA2S+ in the fight for Reproductive Justice. When access to care is severely limited for everyone, what are the implications on access to quality, affirming care? What does it look like to uplift each other’s bodily autonomy, safety, and right to reproductive health? The event will be hosted virtually via zoom by The UPRISE Collective.
